All our Inspection Trips are tailor-made to suit your personal requirements. They can be on any day, as long or as short as you need and cover as many or as few properties as you want to see.

At any time in the trip we can take time to answer specific questions regarding property purchase in Spain, legal issues, finance etc.

Below is shown typical example, but please bear in mind, each inspection trip is tailored just for you, but we will try our best to accommodate your needs.

Town and Country Property Inspection Trip

Typically these run from Sunday to Wednesday or Thursday (but any day to start is ok), 2 or 3 nights in friendly local accommodation, (some with private pool).

Sunday

We pick you up from the airport and take to your hotel and allow you to settle in.

Monday and Tuesday

We pick you up in the morning and take you to see five or six properties on each day. Usually on the Monday we show you a mix of different styles and locations to try and get a better idea of just what houses interest you most.

Please try and be open and honest with us, tell us what you really think of the properties we show you. This allows us to react accordingly so that we don’t waste your time showing you unsuitable houses.

We will always show you any specific properties you have requested to see.

Wednesday

We pick you up and, depending on flight times, we will revisit any properties you most liked (we can also revisit properties on the Tuesday if your flight times don’t allow us much time on the Wednesday)..

We also take you back to the airport in good time for your flight.

Useful Tips

If you find a property that you’re interested in, always take a second look. It’s amazing what you see the second time that you didn’t see the first time.
Ignore the decoration. The Spanish don’t get “House Doctor” and some of the older properties are not well presented - but look past this and see the potential.
Bring a camera and take lots of photos - make sure the first photos at each house is an obvious picture of the front of the property so you know which photos go with which house.
If you have one, bring your video camera and take turns videoing the properties so that you can both review the properties afterwards and see them as your partner saw them.
Be open and honest with us about what you like and what you don’t - this will help us make sure we don’t waste your time with unsuitable properties.

Costs and Arrangements

Town and Country Casas have never run free inspection trips.

Within the industry, free trips are now widely regarded as a high pressure sales approach which places too much of an obligation on the client to purchase a property.

Instead we help you book the trip and offer to reimburse the cost of flights and your £99 if you choose to purchase a property through us. This way you still get a free inspection trip, but there is no pressure or obligation placed upon you to purchase a property from us. (please see below for conditions).

Conditions:-

We will reimburse the flight and the £99pp cost for your inspection trip if you purchase a property through Town and Country Casas.

We reimburse a standard amount for both flights and the £99 per person already paid, it is therefore not necessary to keep your receipts.
- Flights: 100 Euros per person for a return flight.
Should you decide to make multiple trips, we only reimburse the first inspection trip.
We will pick you up from Alicante, Murcia or Valencia airports.
The reimbursement is made following completion of the purchase.
